This wiki is in 'slumber' mode, just like its associated sourceforge project. Edits are disabled, the content is potentially stale and is not maintained. That said, it contains some really useful stuff still. Enjoy!
This is a wiki, or WikiWikiWeb: a collaborative hypertext environment, with an emphasis on easy access to and modification of information. This wiki is about the open source Jicarilla project hosted at sourceforge,
http://jicarilla.sf.net. In addition, it contains various musings about the development of solutions in the general problem space in which Jicarilla dabbles as well.
I provide you with my code, my ideas and often also helpful responses to questions for free. However, I am placing you under the moral obligation to help make that work I do available to more people in a better way. That mainly involves writing documentation. Read more on this rationale: Welcome to the documentation team!
If you came here to learn about the jicarilla software, run some code, and get an idea of how the thing works real quickly, skip the rest of this page and get started.

As an experiment, I've made it possible to donate to Jicarilla through the sourceforge donations system. If any money arrives, it'll be spent on boosting the availability and uptime of lsd (the machine that runs this wiki and several other services).
These are companies, organisations and individuals that make this wiki and the Jicarilla project possible. Big thanks to them!
Jicarilla is proud to be hosted by Sourceforge. Our code lives on the sourceforge CVS servers (though this wiki does not run on their servers).
JetBrains make just about the best java editor on the planet (IntelliJ IDEA), and they've provided me with an open source license to use it.
Wingware make just about the best python editor on the planet (WingIDE), and they've provided me with an open source license to use it.
Cortex has created Clover, a code coverage tool for unit tests. They've provided the Jicarilla project with an open source license to use it.
The linux community, and Red Hat
This server runs on Red Hat Linux, a Free and Open Source GNU/Linux operating system.
This server runs on Apache HTTP Server, a Free and Open Source webserver. Additionally, the Jicarilla project utilizes Free and Open Source code and binaries created by the ASF.
Jicarilla utilizes the Free and Open Source JUnit project for its unit testing.
The Jicarilla Wiki is based on the Free and Open Source MoinMoin wiki.
MoinMoin wiki runs on python, a Free and Open Source scripting language.
Many other people and projects
I can't even begin to list all the other open source projects Jicarilla builds upon, nor all the people that have contributed (knowingly and unknowingly) to it. To quote Isaac Newton: "I stood on the shoulders of giants."
Besides time, energy, code, thoughts and documentaiton, it's also possible to donate money. The donation system at sourceforge keeps track of the donations from donors that haven't opted in to anonimity.
